Catskill Game Farm Closing - Over 1,000 Animals to be Auctioned.
Posted 09/16/2006
The Catskill Game Farm will be closing permanently as of October 9th, 2006.
All animals & attractions will remain in the park until THE DATE OF THE AUCTIONS!
On October 17th and 18th, 2006 at 10:30 am the Norton Auctioneers of Michigan will be holding an animal and equipment auction on the premises (information provided below).
Apparently Catskills Game Farm feels their only choice is to Auction off living, breathing beings that have been entrusted to them all these years. Anyone can purchase these animals at an Auction. This means they have a HUGE potential to being sold for the purposes of Canned Hunts (among other potentially cruel or careless buyers).
There ARE other choices. Let's help these Animals get placed in good, caring sanctuaries. Let Catskill Game Farm know you want to know if they really CARE about these animals!
