Kokomo - Sponsored by Pryor's Planet
Posted 09/19/2006
Adorable 6 month old Chow/Shepher mix little girle dumped by two horrible men today at East Valley Shelter, L.A.

I went to East Valley to pull a terrior named "Gorda" and I saw two men being horrible to this littel girl. She was so terrified. She doesn't even know how to walk on a leash and she was infested with fleas and ticks. It took me 30 minutes just to get her into my car. She is so afraid of going inside anywhere...doorways...and doesn't understand that she is welcome indoors. I feel this is the first time she has ever felt love from any human.
The worst part is that she is suffering and needs surgery to fix her eyes. She has a condition where her eye lids are turned in and her eyelashes are scratching her eyes. Her eyes are infected badly and they constantly ooze. The surgery to fix this condition is sight-saving. With out it, her eyes will be scarred or infected so bad that she will go blind.
Please help Kokomo. She deserves a chance to live a life, pain free and adopted into a loving home.
For adoption information please contact Pryor's Planet. If you would like to donate towards her surgery, please go to the donation page. Be sure to specify that your donation is for Kokomo.
Update 10/14/2006
Kokomo had eyelid surgery to fix the problem of the inturning eyelids. She is doing so much better and very happy. Now she is so ready for a new forever home and a new family.
