According to LBAC, these are all previously Noah's Ark dogs. Once again, we applaud Pnina for the time she spent with these dogs and getting the pictures to us so that we can help get them adopted. Thank you so much Pnina!!!!
These cuties are only a small number of the close to 300 animals seized from Noah’s Ark. These dogs deserve to finally be in forever homes. They are now waiting patiently to be adopted from the Long Beach SPCA and shelter. They deserve the chance to finally feel safe knowing they will be loved forever.
Location and direction are below.

Cage 720 - Charlie - Large black lab male - about two years old and about a hundred pounds. I love this dog. He is friendly and gentle as a mouse. He just wants to play and be loved. This is a big boy that will win your heart instantly.
Cage 717 - Willy - running around wagging his tail begging to get out. He is terrified and will need a rescue that can work with him.
Cage 717 - Skitzu - A very small shih-tsu who is One eye Jack's cell mate. They seem to run around playing and chasing each other. These 2 our extremely frightened and need a rescue that will work with them and help them feel safe.
 
Cage 715 - Money - is a sweet polite, quiet Dalmatian. He came up to me to kiss my hand. This is a wonderful dog that is very sad. My heart broke for him. I hope someone helps him get another chance. He would make a wonderful family member.
 
Cage 711- Caracola - This is the sweetest little redish/yellow little dog. She is a friendly wiggly tail that gets along with everyone. I adore her. She would make a wonderful companion.
Cage 712 - Max - A beautiful Rottie/Shepard mix. This sweetheart is alert and super friendly. He comes up to the cage and gives lushes kisses.
 
Cage 721 With the red chow (I think her name is Karma) and her yellow Chow/Lab mix - Pyro. They are cell mates. They seem to like each other and really need to find a foster or forever home ASAP.
Cage 722 red pit mix that was left unaltered at NA. This is a breathtaking dog. He is extremely sweet, friendly. We took him out on the grass and he was busy smelling the flowers and watching the people walk by. This is a wonderful boy.
Cage 723 black lab mix a very gentle sweet dog. Calm and friendly.
 
Cage 724 This is Muneco. A terrified cocker spaniel that is about 5 or 6. Muneco needs to be handled carefully. He comes to me when I sit by his cage. However, he has had a bite history. He needs a rescue that can work with him and help him overcome his fears.
 
Cage 732 - Lucy - A beautiful Pom/Border Collie mix. She is stunning. This poor girl is terrified and I mean terrified. She seems gentle and very sad. This girl needs out NOW!!!
 
Cage 734 black & white shepard maybe Akita mix This is a PERFECT dog. She is FANTASTIC. She walked with us the entire time we were there and was incredible. She was unfazed by other dogs barking, was perfect on leash...she is truly one of a kind. AMAZING.
Chi Chi is a young White/Gold Chi girl. Very sweet and cuddly and would love to go everywhere with her family. Not certain what side Chi Chi is on…please check with staff.
Adopted
Boo is a 2 year old Jack Russell/Chi mix. She is very pretty. She will be available soon. Right now she is busy being a mom.
Carmel is an 18 month old, amazing dog. A Border Collie mix who gave birth at the East Valley shelter was the best mom ever. All her pups were adopted but poor Carmel was left behind. She has been behind bars for 4 months. This is an exceptional dog. Poor Carmel is all alone…no pups no one to hug or love her (and boy does she love to hug and cuddle) all alone at the LB shelter.
China is 2 years old and truly an amazing little girl. She has adorable big ears that look like she can fly. China is sweet as sugar and loves to cuddle, play and give kisses. This wiggly tail will make a wonderful family member. She is on the SPCA side in cage 23.
Chipper the Black and Brown Chi is about 18 months old. He is a typical Chi who is terrified at first but when he warms up he is great. Not certain what side Chipper is on…please check with staff.
Pepper is a Rat Terrier/Chi mix. She is very scared but sweet. She is a very special girl who will thrive in a forever home. She would make a wonderful companion. Not certain what side she is on. Please check with staff.
Poppi is a Black Chi who is terrified. Taken from the East Valley shelter to NA and now poor little Poppi is at the LB shelter. Pure Black and beautiful. I am not certain what side Poppi is on…please check with staff. May not be a former Noah's Ark Doggie...
Precious is a very special dog. She is about 5 years old and has now been behind bars for over 4 months. She is beautiful. She originally was dumped in the shelter with her brother. Her brother was adopted but she was seized and now needs to find a family that will love her forever. Not certain which side she is on…please check with staff.
In a foster home getting love and attention and working on some behavior training.
Sophie (aka Cookie) is a Black and White Shitzu about 2 years old. She is shy and scared. This sweet little (well, she is a bit chubby) girl needs to find a forever loving home very soon so she can finally feel safe. Her picture was taken prior to grooming.
Spankey (aka Sparkey) is an approx 5 – 6 year old Red Cocker. He is a very special boy. He is extremely loveable and very handsome. He is a total wiggly tail and is freshly groomed waiting to find his forever family. He has been behind bars for 3 months. Consider giving this wonderful dog a safe and forever home. He is on the SPCA side.
Spomoni is a young Black Tibetan Terrier/Caccapoo mix. This little one is beyond adorable. Full of energy and wants desperately to be free and play in his forever home. Spumoni loves giving kisses and chase balls. He is on the SPCA side in cage 10 or 22.
Winston is an adorable Tibetan Terrier. Friendly and lovable and would make an amazing addition to any family. Not certain what side Winston in on…please check with staff.
Cage 503 Pair of very sweet and well mannered shepherd mixes. They seem to be friends or siblings , black & tan
Cage 504 shepherd mix and a blk lab mix. Their pix is awful. They are very handsome in real life. Appear to be shy. The lab mix is young and submissive.
Cage 505 A black & tan shepherd chow and a yellow Shep/chow mix both seem to be nice energetic dogs that desperately need to get out and run.
Cage 511 A very nice red chow mix and a lab/ Shepard mix. These 2 were very well behaved. I went back to their cage and they both came to me pushing their head toward me wanting to be hugged.
 
Cage 512 pit bad mange. This dog is a heart breaker. So so sweet and desperately wants to be touched with eyes that cry out for help.
Cage 513 male pit not neutered, young and energetic and extremely playful. He was eager to deliver lots and lots of kisses. |
