By now, you have all probably heard of the tragic situation this past Tuesday in Mira Mesa where two loose pit bulls attacked and killed a neighbor's dog, and were in turn shot by the police after advancing on nearby children.  Well, the following local news coverage will definitely have you breathing a sigh of relief with their response to the incident.

Unlike the usual negative media reports that spring up without fail after each "vicious pit bull attack," KUSI News San Diego chose to set a precedent in favor of the breed while addressing the true issues at hand.
