Idaho - 8 yr old Rescued Mustang

She is 8 years old.  She was rounded up out of the Nevada Area when she was a year old. She has had one Foal that we know of and did well with it. She came to me after living in a neglectful home were her halter was too small, her water was frozen, she had foundered to poor hoof care and lack of exercise ect. She is a natural lover and does nice ground work however she is still a little shy of the halter but doesn’t fight or get angry... you just have to be patient with her and let her know its ok.  She also has been under the saddle in the past but we believe someone mistreated her in that aspect as well.  She will stand nicely to be saddled but bolts away as soon as you lift your leg to the stirrup.  We have worked on this as well just teaching her to stand as I lift my leg and knee beside her.
