This is not only about putting an end to hideous animal cruelty, but also about the very important and urgent issue raised by the Animal Enterprise Act, which does everything to protect corporations while seriously threatening our First Amendment rights.

We are all in danger of losing the right to peaceful protest, the kinds of protests that enabled civil rights activists and women's groups to demonstrate and take actions to bring about meaningful change. Animal rights and environmental activists for social change, have been singled out for punishment...because of the perceived threat to big business... while anti-abortionists, white supremacists and the like, are allowed to engage in violent, sometimes deadly protests and activities because they represent little or no threat to corporations.

It's all about corporate greed, indifference to life and the unfortunate ignorance and lack of interest of the public at large.
