"One of our volunteers recently rescued BJ, a small great dane mix puppy from the middle of the woods, and it was pure fate due to his severe condition. BJ was extremely emaciated and had an incredibly severe wound under his eye. He was so malnourished and dehydrated that he could not walk and could only drag himself on the floor. He was raced to the vet's office immediately where we found out that he had been wounded by a gunshot.

BJ will need extensive treatment from the vet and we will be incurring a huge expense. We do whatever it takes to make our animals better and will spare no expenses getting BJ healthy. His pictures are too graphic to be viewed and cannot be shown at this time, but we need some help getting this baby to where he should be. No animal, especially a young puppy should have to go through this. We are very happy to have found BJ and can't wait until he is ready to be placed into a wonderful, loving home."
