Digital Camera Needed to Save Lives
" As many of you know, Dawn and I are just about the only ones who go to Broward Animal Care and Regulation to take photos of dogs needing rescue. We send emails out to great folks like you, who then place them in good homes.
In the past two years, we have been able to save about 400 dogs this way! BUT, my digital camera is old and shot. Yesterday I borrowed one from a friend in Pembroke Pines, but had to return it to her.
WITHOUT PHOTOS MOST DOGS DON'T STAND A CHANCE.
Bottom Line: To continue to save wonderful dogs from Broward, I need someone to donate a new or used digital camera...as long as it works, I don't care. Maybe you have upgraded and can donate your old one???
Good cameras can be bought on ebay and places like BJ's for about $150, also.
This would be tax-deductible for you, too!
If someone wants to donate a camera, or $150, or if THREE people donate $50, or SIX people donate $25, the dogs of Broward will have a MUCH better shot at being rescued. I simply have no camera to take photos anymore.
No photos, no rescues!
By the way, Dawn has a camera, but she works long days and cannot go to Broward every day. I try to fill in the gaps when she cannot go and visa versa. So, when it is my turn (sometimes more than a week straight), I need a camera.
Email me if you can help Loretta800@aol.com
Paypal is easy and available, too. Or, you could choose a good used one on ebay yourself. It is DESPERATELY NEEDED.
Thanks so much for caring,
Loretta www.broward.org
