Sassy is a 10 yr old paint/pinto mare that went blind in 1 eye this last fall.  In Jan '06 she was diagnosed with ERU in the other.  She has only had the one flare up, but when it happens, she needs eye drops 2 X daily for 7-10 days and has diminished sight then in that eye.  She was ridden and shown by a young girl for 6 yrs before this happened.  The owners sent her to a trainer to see if she could still be ridden, and she did real well in the round pen.  She is a little spooky, but with time and patience, she should get much better.  She is UTD on everything.

My landlord wants these horses gone! I have had Sully 2 yrs, but now they are afraid to have blind horses on the property. I can have any of my other rescues, but these need to find homes VERY soon. It has already been a month and they are getting a little impatient with me. Any and all reliable help will be appreciated.
