HOW LONG DISTANCE ADOPTERS CAN RESCUE ONE OF THESE DOGS:
1. Call Pound 419-334-2372 and ask if dog is still available as well as any other questions you might have.
2. Pay Pound for dog. They can not accept credit cards.

wish to rescue. That is all Sandy is able to do. She can not help with transport or anything else! Please don't ask her to
do more, she absolutely can not!!!!

YOU MAY WANT TO CALL PAW PATCH VET CLINIC BEFORE YOU PAY FOR THE DOG TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE SPACE TO VET & BOARD THE DOG YOU ARE PLANNING ON RESCUING UNTIL YOU CAN PICK HIM / HER UP from Paw Patch! If they say yes, they will ask for your credit card number.

3. Once the dog is paid for, the pound calls one of four vets that they are contracted with to make an appointment for "your" dog to be spayed/neutered and receive shots. The pound will then transport "your" dog to one of the four vet's office.
(Paw Patch is one of the only vets I know of that will board your dog after surgery until you can come and pick it up). Explain to the pound that you want the dog taken to PAW PATCH.
ASK PAW PATCH AHEAD OF TIME WHAT THE BOARDING FEE WILL BE. THEY WILL ASK FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER and will want to know the date you are planning on picking the dog up.
4. Discuss with Paw Patch any additional vetting you'd like charged to your Credit Card, if any, such as heartworm test, bordetella, worming, etc.
