Andrew's Happy Tail -
Shattered leg and horrible gashes on his face but people rallied around him and saved him!

Update 09/17/2006

"I cannot emphasize enough the WONDERFUL job the folks at SBACC have done with him. He is healing well -he'll have the pins in his leg another couple of months, he is healthy and most important he is so so happy. He LOVES the volunteers there and you can see it in his eyes. He's full of life and energy and so smart! If you'd like to donate towards his massive bills email me privately so I can direct you to them."   Nikki

Update 07/30/2006

Here are a couple photos of Andrew after his surgery and his neuter. The cone is to keep him from licking the neuter site. The blue things are covers for the metal rods/pins needed to keep his bone together.

As you can see, Andrew is doing well. He is sweet, alert and very bright.  You can see in his eyes how smart this boy really is!  He sits and looks up directly into your eyes. A dog like Andrew is very special and not one that I get to meet everyday.

Once he's all healed from his surgery - he will make someone an awesome pet!

Rescued 2 year old male Jindo from No. Central Animal Shelter in Los Angeles.  He came in to NCAS as a stray with many injuries. Possibly hit by a car.  He has a severe fracture of left tibia. Multiple severe laceration on  the neck, chest, and face. He needs orthopedic surgery or amputation of the leg.  Even after all that he still very loving. He comes up to you and wags his tail and wants to give you a kiss.

Andrew will probably not be available for a couple of months.  Return here for updates on his adoptability!

"He's safe!!! And oh, my is he the sweetest thing EVER!! Despite the fact he must be in pain. He gave kisses, let me pick him up and not one ounce of anger at all. Even the vet said he's a sweet dog and said thank you for saving him."  - Niki
