Age: 9 years
Meet Candy. Her real name is Annie, but her dad always calls her Candy because he's so sweet on her. This big girl who would love nothing more than to spend the rest of her days living right where she is - in Beaver, Utah, with her senior dad.
Unfortunately, Candy won't have that option. Her beloved 94-yr-old owner's health has deteriorated and he has been moved to a care facility.
Candy is still standing guard over their yard - and receiving daily visits from her dad's friends. Soon, though, she'll need a new home and a new yard to go to.
Candy is considered special needs due to her age and the fact that she must continue taking medication to control seizures. She does not like cats, but is good with other dogs and has great affection for people.
