PLEASE CROSS POST
Hi Everyone,
All communities in Tn are overpopulated with unwanted, stray, dumped, shelter pets. It's nothing new to us. There is a shelter in Hartsville, TN called Forgotten Friends. If you haven't heard of this shelter (cinderblock building located on the town landfill), it's small, overrun, icky, and in the middle of nowhere but has some awesome animals there. Their chance for local adoption is zilch. I've been fortunate enough to work with Tammy and Eric for several months now, pulling, re-homing and adopting out animals from there. We have found many gorgeous purebreds and the usual menagerie of the ever so common mixed breed variety. The shelter is facing a BIG euth this weekend. For the first time ALL of the dogs that will be pts are VERY adoptable. I know that we are all full, out of fosters, blah, blah, blah. Tammy and Eric can help with vetting, they use Dr. Kinslow in Lebanon and his speuter rates for rescues and shelter animals is VERY reasonable (30-40 bucks for speuter, no weight restriction that I am aware of). Kinslow's office is very aware of the problem, are rescue friendly and want to work with us to help this shelter. Please take a look at these faces and see if you can help give any of them another chance at life this weekend. If you can take any of these dogs, I cannot foster, but I WILL go to Hartsville next week and bring the dogs or kitties to a central meeting point in the Greater Nashville area to be picked up.

Please be creative- if you see one you can help, we can get it to speuter Tues or Weds, that will buy you some days, then a day or two at the vet for spueter and shazam you're into next weekend already and have had the week to make space or send others on transport.
Even if you cannot help this time, keep the link and check the site often.
Have a wonderful, safe weekend and hug your furry babies tight!
